What Exactly Is QRTI.ME

Imagine having accounting, HR and security departments right on your phone? That’s exactly what QRTi.me is. As an employer, you can manage employee timesheets for payroll, attendance and keep track of employee vacation schedules. But QRT.me also lets you restrict access to areas across multiple locations by a cloud-based solution compatible with both iOS and Android phones.  QRT.me is also a Project Management tool. How does all this work? Very well indeed. J Let’s look at some of the functions.

It All Starts With Member Login:

From the Member Login page, Users access QRT.me. At the top of the page, Users will see the primary menu with the options of “Login” and “Create Company”.

Creating Your Company:

To create your company, just click on “Create Company”.  You’ll see “Add new company”. This form is divided into three sections, “Company information”, “Admin user information” and “Login information”. We’ll go into this in more detail a bit later

Your Company Profile:

QRT.me’s profile page is the springboard to all of the needed functions to handle your company’s HR and projects needs in three intuitive sections:

  • In “Basic information” the User will be able to mark himself/herself as admin by clicking on the “is admin” box. The User will then be able to change name, contact number, email address and profile images in this section.
  • In “Login information”, the User will be able to change the password and app’s PIN number. The User name field is unique and fixed. For that reason, the Users you add won’t be able to change their name.
  • In “Other information”, the Admin Users can set a “Start date” field for the employee’s joining date. “Daily start time “and “Daily end time” fields indicate working start time and end time. “Allowed break time” indicates employees’ break time. “Total working hours” indicates daily office hours for employees. The “Working rate” field allows Admin Users to set rates and even minimum and maximum work hours.

The Dashboard:

  • Returning Users go right to the dashboard.
  • You can view Assigned Project Tasks, Employee Leaves Taken, Leave Applications and Attendance Information.
  • By clicking on a task’s name, you’ll will be able to view recent task details. Clicking on the “MORE” link, redirects you to active projects where you’ll be able to view all projects and tasks.
  • The Leaves Taken box shows the number of leaves taken.
  • The Leaves Application box shows the number of leaves submitted.
  • The Attendance Information box shows that day’s employee punch in, punch out and breaks. Company Admin User Options:

Here you’ll be able to set your company information through five submenus: Company Profile, Holiday Settings, Resources, Invite Users and Device

  • Holiday Settings:

There are four sections in holiday settings: Holiday Rate, Yearly Leave, Weekly Holiday and Yearly Holiday.

  • Holiday Rate is your company’s holiday work rate. Admin Users are able to customize this for individual employees.
  • Yearly Leave allows the ability to track those leaves for employees on a recurring or one-time basis. Admin User can also choose the company’s weekly holidays from the Weekly Holidays section.
  • Yearly Holidays works in the same way. By selecting the “Single Entry” box, you will be able to enter individual company holidays; and by selecting “Range entry”, you can enter multiple holiday ranges.
  • Resources:
    • This very powerful function organizes all of your company’s resources in an intuitive format.
    • Click on “+” button to add new resources.
    • New resources are divided into three sections: Basic information, Login information and other information.
    • “Basic information” let’s you confer admin status on other Users by clicking on the “is admin”. Then add that User’s name, contact number, email address and profile image.
    • “Login information” let’s you change your app’s password and PIN.
    • “Other information” let’s you assign the User a “Department” option. A “quick copy” function allows you to copy repeated information when entering several employees in the same department.
    • Here comes the accountant right in your phone. QRT.me’s “Working rate” field has two options hourly rate and monthly rate. If the employee’s salary is based on a daily hourly rate, select that option. You can even set your overtime rate at a maximum allowed overtime daily rate. But if the employee’s rate is monthly, QRT.me can calculate this too by selecting the monthly rate dropdown option. And of course, you’ll be able to set monthly rate, overtime rate and maximum allowed overtime monthly.
  • All Users on QRT.me are totally searchable.
  • All information on QRT.me can be sent to print from your device.
  • Invite User From Other Companies:

As an admin, just send an invitation to a colleague at another company’s e-mail using QRT.me. After joining your company, they will be able to switch between your company and theirs for an easy and organized communication flow for inter-company projects.

Projects:

Managing Projects is important for any business. To do that QRT.me has five submenus: Active Projects, Archived Projects, Standup Reports, Project Manager View and Add a New Project.

  • Active Project:
    • View all active projects assigned to a User and those created by that User.
    • Change your project view from grid or list.
    • Projects can be displayed by created date or project creator’s name.
    • “Edit” and “Archive Project” functionality is only available for admin Users.
    • “Edit” allows a change of project name, description and the ability to add or remove project participants.
    • “Archive Projects” classifies the project as no longer active.
    • Easy project specific document viewing and managing.
    • Track hours spent by employees assigned to projects.
  • Archived Projects: What if a project is back online? Archived projects can be made active again simply by clicking “Active” link.
  • Standup Report: Allows admins to view reports submitted by all employees. It also allows employees to view their reports. Don’t worry about document attachment. We already did. You can. J
  • Project Manager View: Let’s Users view all tasks assigned to them according to task type.
  • Add New Project: Add new projects for employees.

Leave Applications:

Here is your HR department right on your phone.  An employee chooses the “Apply For Leave” link.  The employee can select the type of leave, inserting start date, leave end date, number of days and reason for the leave. Admin users can then approve or reject the leave. To keep everything organized, Admin users can manage and delete leave applications too.

Reports:

With Reports, Admin and Employee Users can monitor Daily attendance, missing Punch outs and payroll.

Here is just some of what QRT.me can do in terms of time tracking:

  • Employees are able to view punch in, punch out, break in, break out information of a particular day.
  • Admin Users are able to edit or delete that information.
  • Admin Users are able to grant an employee leave for a day by clicking on “+ Mark Leave” option.
  • Admin Users are able to enter attendance information manually by clicking on “Add new entry”.
  • If an employee forgets to punch out on a particular day that information will appear in a “Missing Punch-out” report. The report shows the last seven days, but the field can be expanded.
  • Attendance Counter: This shows employees’ total present, absent, holidays and leave days.
  • Attendance Report: This shows employees’ last seven daily punch in time information. But Admin Users can change date ranges to view employees’ attendance reports for months or even years.
  • Overtime Report: This shows employees’ last seven days overtime information.
  • Payroll Report: This show employees’ total working hours broken into easy view normal and overtime hours. A “Total Pay” column indicates total payment of the employee depending on the regular and overtime hours. The pay period can be calculated for a weekly, monthly and even a yearly period.
